An Immersive Resort Environment Built to Transport Guests
International Greenscapes™ thru its Plantworks® brand helped create a lush, destination-driven environment designed to make guests feel transported from the moment they arrive.
The project features a layered collection of replica Kentia palms, Licuala Grandis fan palms, and preserved Washingtonia Robusta palms, bringing tropical scale, texture, and movement into an immersive hospitality setting.
Designed for a dramatic interior canyon concept, the planting adds softness and life against the surrounding rockwork, lighting, and architectural detail. Tall preserved palms create vertical impact, while lower plantings and fan palms build depth at eye level, helping the space feel natural, abundant, and fully composed.
This is where permanent botanical design becomes part of the guest experience. The greenery does not simply decorate the restaurant — it helps define the atmosphere, guide the eye, and support the feeling of escape.
For high-traffic hospitality environments, that balance matters. The installation needed to deliver visual impact while supporting long-term performance, durability, and fire-safety requirements. The sales order notes the use of UltraLeaf-IFR® commercial-grade, inherently fire-retardant foliage for the Kentia and Licuala palms, along with preserved Washingtonia Robusta palms designed for indoor use.

Natural Trunk Manzanita Trees for a Mountain Lodge Experience
At The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, International Greenscapes™ helped enhance the Living Room Lodge with Natural Trunk Manzanita Trees designed to feel right at home in a refined mountain resort setting.
Surrounded by warm wood architecture, stone detailing, expansive windows, and views of the Sierra landscape, the installation brings a carefully layered natural element into the guest experience. The trees add height, texture, and organic movement while complementing the lodge’s sophisticated alpine character.
Unlike a decorative accent, the Manzanita trees help shape the atmosphere of the space. Their sculptural trunks, branching forms, and full green canopies create a sense of intimacy within the open interior, softening the scale of the room while reinforcing the connection between indoors and outdoors.
For a luxury resort environment, that connection matters. Guests are not simply passing through a lobby or lounge. They are arriving into a place that should feel grounded, memorable, and connected to its setting.

Standing 24 feet tall with a vibrant 24-foot canopy, The Old Tree brings a jolt of color and contemplation to New York’s iconic High Line. Designed by Swiss artist Pamela Rosenkranz and produced by NATUREMAKER®, this striking installation invites viewers to explore the connections between nature, art, and synthetic life.Vivid red branches twist skyward, illuminated by the surrounding cityscape, while thick sculptural roots seem to pulse with life—evoking blood vessels, neural networks, and ancient mythologies. Positioned between towering buildings and ever-changing seasons, The Old Tree offers a moment of awe and curiosity in the heart of Manhattan.

Three Arts Club Cafe at RH
Chicago, IL –
Inside the historic 1914 Three Arts Club—now transformed into RH Chicago, a gallery of luxury home furnishings—TREESCAPES® played a key role in bringing nature into one of the city’s most atmospheric dining spaces. The soaring glass atrium, home to the Three Arts Club Café, features a dramatic landscape of custom-fabricated Mediterranean olive trees, carefully engineered and hand-crafted by TREESCAPES® to create a serene, timeless canopy.
These ultra-realistic olive trees soften the space’s grand architectural elements—brick archways, crystal chandeliers, and a central European-style fountain—with sculpted organic form and gentle foliage. Their naturalistic branching, bark texture, and custom planter integration deliver the immersive quality of a courtyard garden, without the limitations of live plants in an indoor environment.
Engineered to meet interior commercial code with inherently fire-retardant materials, the TREESCAPES® olive trees offer lasting beauty and maintenance-free performance. The installation exemplifies how biophilic design and botanical art can elevate hospitality environments, adding warmth, elegance, and sensory richness to one of Chicago’s most talked-about destinations.

Enter through the iconic orange canopy of the Tree Bar, illuminated by an array of lights, and take in the sweeping, theater-style 125-foot curved bar.
Tucked behind the main dining room the new SAMBAROOM awaits: an exclusive private dining and event space inspired by South American influences. Here, vibrant art deco flooring, lush greenery, and versatile configurations create an inviting atmosphere that celebrates the brand’s Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian heritage.

CATCH Las Vegas at ARIA Resort & Casino
Las Vegas, NV –
When PLANTWORKS® was selected to help bring the lush, fantastical world of CATCH Las Vegas to life, we knew it had to be unforgettable. Located inside the ARIA Resort & Casino, this celebrity-favorite restaurant demanded more than just greenery—it required a theatrical experience from entry to exit.
Guests are greeted by an iconic floral tunnel—an immersive walkway of cascading vines, vivid blooms, and twinkling lights that immediately signals this is no ordinary dining experience. Inside, dramatic olive trees rise from the center of round booths, their branches hung with glass orbs that glow like fireflies. Green walls and hanging florals frame the space, adding texture and color to the restaurant’s upscale, whimsical aesthetic.
PLANTWORKS® collaborated closely with the design and development teams to ensure every botanical element delivered on the brand’s promise of visual spectacle and Instagram-ready moments. This installation includes:
- Custom olive trees with dimensional, sculptural branching
- Overhead floral installations and woven ceiling vines
- Full-height preserved and artificial green walls
- Entry tunnel with floral ceiling, lantern lighting, and built-in fountains
- Oversized logo floral wall for photo ops
